3. Describe the preparations of Arunima Sinha for the Everest Expedition.
1) Arunima Sinhawas injured in a train accident. Her left leg was amputed, but she had a dream of climbing the world’s highest mountain that is Everest so she started walking is just 2 days.
2) Her whole focus was on climbing the Everest.
3) She met Bachendri pal, the first Indian Woman to reach the Everest when she was discharged form hospital
4) After meeting Bachendri pal, she didn’t go home she joined the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering for training

4. Describe the accident of Arunima Sinha.
On the night of 11th Aprial, 2011, while on her way to Delhi form Lucknow by Padmavati Express, she was attacked by a group of local robbers They tried to snatch her gold chain which was gifted by her mother she tried to resist the robbers. She was athletic, so she gave them a tough time she was a lonely girl so she could not resist the robbers for a longer time those robbers were inhuman, they threw her out of the train another train running on the parallel track ran over her legs by the time, she reached hospital, the doctors were left with no option but to amputate her left leg. Below the knee her right leg was also affected by the accident A rod was inserted is the right leg form leg form knee to ankle.
5. Narrate the experience of Arunima Sinha during Mount Everest Expendition
Arunima Sinha took one local guide for the expedition . The guide refused to accompany her because he termed it as a suicidal mission . But, she was determined to do it. She convienced him anyhow.
She started the mission on 1st April,2013. When she entered the death zone at 3500 feet from the top of montaineers scattered all around. A Bangladesh Mountaineer took his last breath in front of her eyes. She was frightened but, she kept on moving. She told herself that neighter she could die before reaching the mount. The guide advised her to return But,she overturned the advice. She told him that she couldn’t die before conquering this mountain. Thearafter, hestarted motivating her for the rest of the mission.
She reached the top but her oxygen supply was over. She raised the ‘Tiranga’ and placed some pictures of her idol (Swami Vivekananda ) next to it As her oxygen supply finished, she fell down suffocating for oxygen, Her guide immediately brought it and they returned to the base.
